I teach photography at Tri-Community.  Recently my students and I were discussing natural light vs flash.  As much as I love natural light, I do believe there are times that call for flash to be used in photography.  And when asked, which do I prefer?  I’ll use either/or depending on the situation.  They both have their benefits.  But I think the key is to know how to be able to use BOTH effectively!

When hiring a photographer, be sure to find out if he/she can use flash.  Because a photographer should be able to shoot in any lighting situation, with any type of light  Because you never know what mother nature is going to provide you!  Here are some examples of natural and flash photography.  What do you think?
